The Black Restaurant Association of Central Ohio (BRACO) was initially established in 2006. After operating for several years and a brief hiatus we have returned stronger yet. Listed on this web site are the Black restaurants in the Columbus and central Ohio area. They include both Southern and Northern home style (Soul Food), both Eastern and Western African, Creole, Caribbean, Bar-b-Que, French plus various fish and chicken dishes. Keep in mind none of these restaurants are ''fast food'' and in many cases the food is made from scratch. Sometimes a 'call in'' is most expedient.
